Feedback on The Prince Bar. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Athlone (Westmeath)

Overview
Walking into The Prince Bar on Church St., you might think, “Oh, just another spot.” But hold on—once you’re inside, the vibe just hits differently. It’s cozy yet hip, with a casual atmosphere that makes you wanna kick back and stay awhile.
I swung by recently with family. We were just aiming for a cup of coffee, but ended up munching on some delish cake and a toasty. Honestly, the prices were pretty solid for what you get, ya know? Service was friendly, too, which is always a plus in my book.
Climbing upstairs, I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics of the decor. It’s like, Instagram-worthy for sure! You can tell they care about the little things. Some reviews mention a killer selection of cocktails and beer—c’mon, who doesn’t love a good drink after some fun activities?
And if you’re rolling with friends, this place seems perfect for groups. Everyone’s raving about the carbonara and those homemade garlic dips for chips—they’re something else.
Although a few folks mentioned the service could be slow, it didn’t ruin the laid-back afternoon. Plus, they’ve got wheelchair access, so that’s a win. Whether you’re there for a laid-back meal or just to chill with drinks, I think The Prince Bar hits the mark.
