Feedback on Arirang Korean Restaurant. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Cork (Cork)
Overview
So, I recently stumbled upon this little gem called Arirang Korean Restaurant nestled right upstairs at 26 Paul St in Cork. Talk about a cozy spot! The first floor feels intimate, a perfect blend for dining in or grabbing a quick bite for takeaway. They’ve got the whole dine-in or order online thing down pat.
The buzz around the food? Let me tell you, it’s a mixed bag, but mostly delightful. I mean, where do I begin? The beef bulgogi? Absolutely killer. The kimchi fried rice? I’m totally obsessed! They even throw in some complimentary sides which felt like a cherry on top of an already delicious sundae.
Now, sure, I caught wind of a few folks who weren’t totally smitten with the taste. Some found it bland or overpriced. But on my visit, everything was fresh and hot. Like, really hot.
Their menu boasts an array of soups and a slamming selection of drinks. Plus, you can snag some Soju in fancy flavors, which really took the experience to a whole new level. I didn’t get to try the fried chicken since it was sold out, but it’s on my radar for next time!
The staff? Super friendly. It’s casual and welcoming, making it a great spot even if you’re dining solo. But it’s always filled with chatter, so don’t expect a quiet moment.
Open every day from 12:30 PM to 10 PM, Arirang is definitely a must-try. Grab your friends, bring your appetite, and give it a whirl—you might just find your new favorite Korean spot.
