So, I recently wandered into Garrett’s Hibernian Bar in Ballybunion, and let me tell you, it’s quite the gem. Tucked away on Main Street—right in the heart of town—you can’t miss it. I was welcomed by the friendly staff, who seemed genuinely happy to see me. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and you just feel at home? Yup, that was it.
The decor has had a little facelift, which definitely brings a fresh vibe to the bar. It’s clean, cozy, and just nice to hang out in. A good pint? Check. They’ve got a solid selection of beers on tap, which I truly appreciate.
But the food? Oh boy! I can’t help but rave about the loaded fries; they’re practically a work of art. Plus, had a taste of their white chocolate cheesecake—heaven on a plate! The menu feels flexible, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a meat lover or into something lighter.
