Feedback on Starbucks. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Maynooth (Kildare)

Overview
Strolling into the Starbucks at John Paul II Library on campus, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and a tinge of disappointment. Nestled in Maynooth, it’s your typical student hotspot. Not the grand, sprawling Starbucks you’re used to in the city but hey, it’s got charm in its own little way.
The layout? Cozy, but let’s be real—if you’re after a quiet moment, good luck! It’s packed, especially when term is in full swing. I felt that familiar buzz, the aroma of coffee swirling around; it’s almost comforting, isn’t it? They whip up your standard brews, like hot chocolate (which is a lifesaver on cold days) and a couple of Frappuccinos.
Now, the snacks? Decent enough—think pastries and sandwiches to grab on the fly. Though, don’t expect an extensive menu. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, though. Some patrons have grumbled about burnt coffee and an off day with the staff being, well, not the friendliest.
But here’s a plus: if you’re a laptop warrior, there’s space to spread out, and they’ve got soya milk, which is a win! Just don’t count on dairy-free options all the time.
In a nutshell, if you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix or a place to chill between classes, this little nook does the job. Plus, the prices won’t break the bank for students. Definitely not the big city vibes, but it’s Maynooth’s own little coffee corner. What more can you ask for?
